I think my clutch master is leaking - the floor mat on the driver's side is suddenly slick. Indicating a slow drip, and I found the clutch reservoir empty after hard shifting. I filled it and now must bleed it. I jacked up the left side and attempted to bleed the slave cylinder - rebuilt two years ago. I only get a small dribble from the bleed screw when my assistant pushes the pedal down. The clutch is engaging at the top of the pedal, where it used to engage midway. My B is a 76, but retrograded and non-servo.

Clutch master cylinder is FUBAR. Replace the master, slave, hose, push rod, and clevis pin and you'll be done for many years to come...

Dick's right, you should replace the master cylinder and might as well replace all other components while you're at it. If that's not possible, it might help, while bleeding, to push the slave cylinder piston back into the cylinder while the bleeder is open.

I purchased a new master cylinder and will update after installed and hopefully no issues bleeding the system.
