I have a 1966 Mg Midget I recently purchased. Drove it home with no issues. I got in to drive it yesterday and I had trouble getting it in gear while running. The clutch went straight to the floor at first until I pumped it a few times then it was stiffer, but continued to be difficult to get in gear. Do I need to bleed the line? Any suggestions?

You can try that but, most likely, your clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder (or both) have failed. Most people recommend that you replace both along with the flex hose, but that's your decision to make. I replaced the master on my B a few years ago because it was obviously defective (leaking). The slave and hose seemed to be just fine so I didn't replace them They're still good today...

Thanks for responding and advice. Where is the best place to order parts? Are any parts available for special order from local auto part houses?
