Block question

Well.
I've used up my collection of 65-68 blocks in the last 20 years. I'm now faced with using an 18V block with bolts for the main caps instead of studs. Any of you using the later blocks? Are the bolts as strong as the studs? I run between 6000 and 7000 rpm the majority of time.

Grasshopper,
I plan on making Hallett. Two things keep from Houston: dead motor and the Christening of my granddaughter in New jersey. I better make the Christening, other wise I wouldn't have the balls to race. Birthdays are coming fast. It seems like only Tuesday I was 66.
