1967 Austin-Healey Sprite "Spiffy"
Yes, many of us MG Faithful have had a "hen" or two! winking smiley

As the story goes, the original car was nicknamed "Owld Speckled 'Un", ("Old Speckled One" ) in the local vernacular but they swapped "One" to "Hen". Sounds good to me.

And the car still exists (although I suspect it was restored to the point where it is not exactly 100% original).

Here's ~ A LINK ~ with some info about that original car.

And below is a picture of the Old Speckled Hen today The guy standing with it is vintage-racer and rock band singer Brian Johnson (from AC/DC).

That's a fine tasting beer, I have a few bottles in my refrigerator right now. I also tried 'Crafty Old Hen' from the same brewery, but don't like it as much.
