I just added an '07 350Z to my sports car stable.

Anybody have one or had one that can give me any tips or tricks that are easy on
improving performance? Anything to watch out for on these cars?

The view out the rear while driving is poor.

It feels more like a luxury car than a true sports car.

I brought one home from the dealer when they first came out.

It (along with the MINI that I brought home one time) have been the ONLY cars than Jean has given me an emphatic "NO!".

I've owned Z-cars since 1978. (I still own a 1996 300ZX)

The 350Z reminded me of my first Z, a 1978 Datsun 280Z. A great drive.

Enjoy it!

Both my children drive the Infinity G37S cars. Very close.

They thought the cars were a lot of car for the dollar. A small backseat as well.

The stick car is not easy to drive.

Both cars are minimal maintenance.

Larry;

Yup, most likely paid too much for the car.

And, yes, the stick shift / clutch is not as user-friendly as the 'B.'

It will take some getting used to - especially the visibility - and especially at night driving.

Now that I finally got the title I'm driving it. Definitely puts a smile on my face.
Can't wait to get up in the morning - to drive to work.

Feels like it pulls like a V-8 Mustang. Supposedly has a faster top end.

Have to use Premium fuel. But, it gets pretty good gas mileage.

Car sits so low to ground I either need a new, low profile floor jack or build some kind of ramp out of wood
(regular car ramps won't work) to raise to change the oil.

Nice car.

My dentist is a car person.

When I go for a checkup if one of the good cats is there I get to drive it.

He gave me the keys to his some kind of modified 350. Lots of extra stuff.

It ran like mad. I liked it.

Knew owning it would put my license in jeopardy.

Unfortunately I will likely loose my license in September. Going blind.

Doc is going to do cataract surgery. Thinks it might help.

Hope so.

A few years ago, I test drove an 350Z. Liked the power and the handling, didn't care much for storage and visibility. Ended up getting a Mazda RX8 instead. A 4-door sports car with usable for short distance back seat. Trunk is good size but the trunk hatch/door limits the size of what fits. You get used to the rotary and its quirks. A blast to run to the rev limiter at 9200 rpm.
