I just joined the group yesterday after purchasing my first MG, a 1976 Midget. There are some small issues I know about right now. The valve cover seems to leak oil and the speedometer is sticking at about 40.
So far the family loves the car. I am thinking that we will have several years of fun. As I know nothing about MGs I am sure I will follow this post with several why, where, and how questions. Thank you in advance

Bryan

Brooks, welcome to the forum and I'd like to extend an invitation to join the Peachtree MG Registry (www.peachtreemg.com). It's a good way to meet others afflicted with the wonderful disease of LBC's! And, you're welcome to come to any meeting or event to see if you'd like to associate with us before joining! You will have a lot of fun with your Midget, esp. when it quits raining and warms up a little!
Jack

Thank you for the replys. Jack. I have saved the web site for the group. Looks like a great group to be part of. This spring the wife (cause you know its really her car) and I will be looking to get out more with the car. I will post some pics of the car when the weather clears and I can get it back outside.

Welcome to the group. Like Jack said the Peachtree MG club is a great place to meet fellow enthusiasts. The guys in the Atlanta area are a great source of info for your car.

Aloha Bryan,
I got a good chuckle out of your VIN: THEWIFETHINKSITSHERS ! Well played.

Over the last two years, my 79 has been my mechanics course and the forum has helped me learn. A lot of great information offered up by good people here on the forum.
Welcome...and enjoy the ride
Anna
