I have this lower parcel shelf/tray for sale from an MG1300/ADO 16 that is surplus to my needs. As shipping will be expensive I dont want much for it - make me an offer plus shipping and it is yours.
I have a bunch of other MG 1100/1300 stuff available including door cards in red and in blue and seats too. Message me and I will have a look for you with what you need.

Hi Lewys
They were not handed. Back in the day BMC were sensible (and cheap enough) to design the ADO 16 to be interchangeable.
Shipping will be expensive to the UK but that that is why I have said make me an offer exclusive of shipping and it is yours for that price plus shipping.
I am in the process of clearing house in the shop so if it isnt gone in a week it will go to the dump probably along with a lot of other big stuff.

You have mail.
I recently had a similar sized box costed to go to the UK with a convertible roof frame in it for a Triumph Stag and that was priced at $900US because UPS and FEDEX no longer offer Sea Freight (only do AIR now). My guess is that this may cost in the region of $600US plus to go to the UK. How urgently do you need it? Would you like me to:
Also, do you want insurance and tracking on this as if you dont, once it leaves my hands I cannot be responsible for any loss or damage?

- Get a quote for AIR FREIGHT?
- See if I can get a quote from say an International House Moving company to send this surface as part of a partial load?
Also, do you want insurance and tracking on this as if you dont, once it leaves my hands I cannot be responsible for any loss or damage?

dimensional shipping charges.....another manner to rip off the consumer....if you box is x size and weight is little, you are charged for the average weight of a box that size..they establish the average...not you.....even USPS is doing this but at a lesser degree of severity in charges.....where will it all end?

Hey Paul,
Is that the one I sold you a while back? How different is it from an early tray, say 1963; did we ever figure that out? All I've ever seen are pictures and those aren't focused on the tray. If the later ones won't work at all, what options do we have?
I haven't done much on my 1100 lately: I've moved twice since we last communicated.

Hi Paul
Yes it is. Sadly it was radically different. I guess BMC figured out the original design was cheap and prone to failure so they did a radical redesign and new materials. On balance I decided to pull mine back together and got it all fixed to a point that I could use it and it would fit in with my philosophy of REPAIR, RESTORE and then and only then RENEW.
Do you want it back for the cost of the shipping? If not it will be going to the dump on Monday I fear.
