The Midget I just bought has the fan belt removed from the air pump. Everything is still hooked up to the head. Will this impact how well the motor runs?

thanks

Nope. All the air injection system does is add air to the exhaust coming out of the head to allow unburned hydrcarbos to burn in the exhaust. Removing the belt means you gan a couple of HP as the engine is not driving the pump.
