Probably just a common 13/16 plug socket but I have seen plugs that take a 5/8 socket put in there

Would be 13/16, no longer as common as they used to be. Doesn't even come with some tool kits.

13/16 is correct.
Bought a set of 4 at Sears, so I have them all now. Plugs and wires changed. Runs much better now.
